The company priced 6 million shares at $10 per share. Memsic's accelerometer products are used to measure tilt, shock, vibration and acceleration, and have a range of applications such as mobile phones, automotive safety systems and video projectors. Boston Scientific called the deal part of its strategy to divest "non-strategic" assets. Founded in 1982, Inmagic's web-based software helps organizations to catalog, search, retrieve and publish a range of digital content. The company's product is now used by around 5,000 organizations. http://www.inmagic.com/news/press_room.html _____________________________________________ o Bain Capital, Shamrock Capital Acquire Publishing Group of America Boston -- Publishing Group of America (PGA), a magazine and digital publisher, has been acquired by Boston-based Bain Capital Ventures and Shamrock Capital Growth Fund. PGA publishes American Profile, Relish and Texas Profile magazines. American Profile debuted in April 2000 as the second largest publishing launch in U.S. history. It is distributed through more than 1,400 newspapers with a combined circulation of over 8 million. Relish, an advertising-supported food magazine launched last year, has a circulation of 9 million. Texas Profile also debuted last year and has a circulation of 625,000. Of the 2,949 U.S. adults aged 18 and over that were surveyed, 63% percent of those employed full-time plan to take the day off on Dec. 24, with 49% of these having the day off as a holiday and the rest (14%) plan to take it off using paid or unpaid leave.
